Josey
Josey is as sweet as Chocolate. She arrived with Labs and More shortly after she delivered her adorable 7 puppies at a high kill shelter. She is around 2 years old and we believe she is a Lab and smaller Terrier breed mix. She is around 1.5 to 2 years old with thin legs and bigger ears. She is a bit shy at first and takes time to warm up to new people but is full of life and a bouncy happy girl once she settles in and bonds to you. She likes to go for walks in quieter neighborhoods, is very affectionate with her people and loves to follow her foster mom. She is learning her basic commands and will sit for a treat or affection. She is housetrained and has good house manners. She loves toys and is always down for a game of fetch. She is still gaining confidence and learning to be more social so is looking for a more dog savvy family that will continue her training and set her up for success. She is good with other dogs once she meets them but is a bit nervous in situations where there are lots of dogs and busy activity so prefers playing fetch in the backyard and going for walks over going to the dog park or dog beach.
